Discover Your Life Purpose
Do you want to know exactly what your purpose is? Of course, you do, this is the eternal question of humanity.
Well, you’re in luck because in this article, I’m going to tell you exactly what your purpose is and hopefully it’ll be life-changing for you! I’m also going to explain how to understand your unique mission and how to align that with your business for ease, flow and success.
If you are anything like me then you want to live out your purpose through your work to create income for your family and a positive impact in the world. You want to be one of the lucky ones that actually aligns her life purpose with her work or business so that she is lit up, fulfilled and doing meaningful work every day of her life. If that resonates with you, then keep reading.
The most successful businesses have a strong foundation of their why, their values, and mission in the world. As a soulpreneur and a solopreneur, that foundation starts with understanding exactly who you are and why you are here. You need to understand your personal unique design, your higher purpose and what your unique gifts, skills and talents are.
When you have a firm grasp on these things then you’ll have the clarity and direction around how to build a business. It also becomes SO easy to choose a niche, create an engaging & authentic brand and to outshine your competition or anyone who is doing something similar to you!
Basically knowing yourself deeply, makes everything else easier.
And honestly… having clarity about your unique gifts, strengths and soul’s purpose IS SO incredibly powerful that it can reignite your passion for your business, it can motivate you to start something entirely new or simply boost your confidence to go out and shine brightly.
So let’s get started with the powerful insights that I’m going to share to help you to understand your purpose, uncover your mission and uncover your unique gifts & talents.
So...what is your personal purpose? How can I possibly tell you that? Well, it’s because it’s actually the same for everyone. People often mix up their purpose with their mission but your purpose is to evolve into your highest self and share your unique gifts and energies with the world. That in itself is your purpose…so you can do that through your work or you can do that simply by living your life and sharing all your unique soul gifts & talents to those around you.
When most people are trying to find their purpose….they are actually trying to understand their mission. Your mission is how you are going to use your gifts and talents to help others and make the world a better place. Your mission is what you will base your business around most of the time. Your calling is that pull, that feeling that you should be doing something different, that nudge saying that there is more to life, that you are meant to do something grand. And your passion is the energy that fuels you. The energy that lights you up and gives you the energy & motivation to fulfill your mission and purpose.
Does that make sense?
If I use myself as an example, my mission right now is to empower female entrepreneurs to connect with their higher selves so they can show up confidently and powerfully in their purpose and gifts to create both income for their family and impact in their community.
My purpose is to lead the way and inspire others by becoming my highest self while sharing my unique gifts of authentic self-expression, divine alignment, personal empowerment, community connection and positive impact.
The calling is a pull I feel within that drove me to learn meditation and get trained as a yoga teacher and then an empowerment coach.
My passion is being creative & making things, learning new things especially about spirituality, personal growth, consciousness, energy and business and I am lit up by helping women, well people actually.
I will help anyone, anywhere.
I started a business with a desire to do, be and have more. I knew I was meant for more but I didn’t know exactly what that meant. I started following my intuition and started taking action but I also felt a bit scattered. I felt like my content was all over the place and didn’t know what to do next. I started to feel very stuck with my writing and experienced writer block. I was losing motivation and even wondering if I should quit.
Once I took the time to focus on myself instead of my business and really uncover what my purpose and gifts were, I was completely re-energized, my inspiration came back and I was able to create content again, I was motivated to move in the direction of my purpose and life was exciting again.
It’s truly magical how knowing your unique purpose and gifts is so incredibly helpful in creating a business that feels easy and fun.
Ok, but how do you figure out your mission, right? Because that is really what you are wanting to know right? What you are actually meant to do in the world.
This is where you want to take some time to really understand who you are on a deep level because when you understand that, you can start to see why your soul came to earth. I highly recommend these steps:
1. Connect with your intuition and ask. Your intuition is your phone line to the divine and can give you a lot of answers….so go into a meditation and ask what is my soul trying to express through me? How do I want to change the world before I leave? Or simply What is my purpose here? However, if you are new to following your intuition, you may not be able to hear it very well or you may have trouble trusting it enough to take action. This was the case for me.
2. Examine Your Life Story. If your purpose and gifts have been with you since a baby, and they have, then they will have shown up during your entire life. This means that you can examine your life and identify the qualities, energies and characteristics that are uniquely you. If your whole life had been preparing you for your mission, what would it be? Just know that since we live on a polarity planet, it’s highly likely that you experienced the shadow side of your gifts so may not see them as gifts at first. For example, one of my gifts is Connection, yet for many many years, I felt disconnected, a loner, like no one understood me.
3. Discover Your Divine Design. We’ve all come with a unique soul blueprint designed to support us on our mission. When you understand your blueprint, you can start to see your mission and how to live your purpose. When you truly know yourself, you are the expert of your own being and you know what works for you and what doesn't work for you. When you know what you stand for, you will have the confidence to do things your way and go against the grain. You’ll be able to make all your decisions easier and know how to motivate yourself. You are able to accept, love and fully approve of yourself, which allows you to grow, thrive and flourish. The tip that I want to share with you today about discovering your divine design, is to look into your astrological moon sign. Your moon sign will give you a better look into your inner self, your emotional self and inner motivations.
There are many systems for understanding yourself on a deeper level that you can use and I’m so super excited about this because I’ve created a very simple system that utilizes Astrology, Human Design, Archetypes and more to uncover your unique divine design.

Your mission is simply how you can share your gifts and energies with others in exchange for income and the fulfillment of knowing that you are making a difference in someone’s life.
