How can you use Facebook groups to build your business?

This is a fun topic for me because I love Facebook groups and have signed the majority of my clients from Facebook groups. I'm here to teach you how to find clients in Facebook groups so that you can build your coaching business, make money and create a positive impact in this world.

You deserve to make the income and impact that you desire and I’m going to teach you how to do that.

I’m also going to share some truths about the coaching industry that I have found to be true. Some truths about the ease of creating a successful business that brings in the income and impact that you expect and deserve. For many women, deciding to become a coach and entrepreneur sounds exciting, glamorous and relatively simple. We see posts and ads about people making $60K in a week and how to easily make 6-figures year even if you are a brand new coach and honestly, my friends so much of this is exaggerated and sometimes it’s even out-right lies.

There is hard work involved to grow a business. The internet makes it look like it will be easy and fast but the truth is that if you talk to any successful entrepreneur, there was hard work at least at the beginning, and they had to create a following or community to make their dream happen.

When you are starting a new coaching business, you often have a lot of questions about where to start, what to do first and what strategy to take.

You've probably heard about how growing a Facebook group will help you to find clients, right?

So you start a group and invite some friends and start posting but it's not growing very quickly and engagement is low and then pretty soon you are the only person posting in there and you are wondering where the clients are? You bust your butt writing great content but you hear crickets and that's completely deflating.

Or maybe you are posting in other people's groups and just aren't getting likes or comments

You feel like you are fighting an uphill battle. Many new coaches experience this and end up feeling frustrated and defeated.

I don't want that to be you so let's dive in.

#1. Let's start by talking about using other people's groups to find clients first.

This is where it's really important to get to know the active members of that group. And let them get to know you. Business is really about creating relationships and trust. If people trust you, then they'll buy from you and if they don't....wellll you know....

So, you want to introduce yourself with your photo, start sharing your story and showing up as an expert in your area of genius. You can use the search bar to locate questions that tie to your area of expertise and then answer them. Ask questions and create a conversation so that you can get to know the other members.

You'll also want to write value posts that showcase your expertise while encouraging your reader to take action. Dropping a meme from time to time is fun and can be helpful, but if you are really serious about your business then you'll want to make sure you are creating your own memes...using someone else's without sharing them directly from their page isn't really cool. They've taken the time to create it and aren't receiving any benefit. You especially don't want to be cutting off their watermark or logo - that's shady. It's really easy to make your own memes with Canva these days and it's lots of fun. So find some quotes or better yet, write your own and use a template or find some photos and make your own memes.

However, memes alone are not going to cut it. They don't let people really get to know you. You have to share about yourself, your story, why you do what you do and what you are excellent at.

To create messages and posts that inspire your ideal clients to take action. You must understand your dream client. We've talked about this before because it is SO important. You need to know what they are struggling with, what they dream of and especially the language they use. You must speak to them in their language and help them see what happens if they don't take action and get help with their struggles.

# 2. How to sign clients even though you don't have your own community...

Once you've done the above steps and been visible in a group so the members start to know who you are....then you can make posts that attract your dream clients. When they comment on your post, use your intuition to see if they are asking for more help energetically. If so reach out to them and start creating a relationship. Ask them about their struggles and see if there is something you can help with....but don't just offer your services right away. be authentic, be caring and build a relationship first.

Join groups that allow you to promote your services....get visible in that group by doing the above, create relationships and then offer your services. You always want to make sure to offer value and help first. If you just drop your promos or pitches, you'll likely annoy the leader and people aren't going to respond because they don't know who you are.

# 3 How to create your own Facebook Community

A. Determine the problem that your group will solve, for example, this group will help you grow your business while you are growing as a human.

B. Determine who you are going to help.

C. Create a challenge or freebie/opt-in to attract your dream clients.

D. Use Facebook ads or promo posts in other groups to get your message out.

E. Welcome your members to the group and get to know them with a welcome sequence.

F. Focus on posts that create engagement in the group.

G. Offer value by showing up consistently with training, entertainment or inspiration

H. Offer them the next step by sharing your offers from time to time.

I. Invite people personally. If you are answering a question in another group, let them know that you have a group where you discuss this and that you'll love for them to join.

J. Love and appreciate your members. People want to be where they feel loved. And they invite others to join them in space that they feel safe, heard and seen. So truly get to know your members and create friendships.

To recap, we’ve covered:

• how to create messages that inspire your ideal clients to take action.

• how to sign clients even if you don't have a community

• how to build your own Facebook Community

If you take these tips and implement them, you’ll soon have a community of raving fans that are ready to buy your services.

I want you to know that this is totally possible for you. If I can do it, so can you.

Please let me know how this training landed with you in the comments.
