5 Tips to Create a Thriving Spiritual Business

I’ve been on this entrepreneurial journey for a few years now and have learned a few things about how to create a thriving spiritual business. Here, I wanted to share my top 5 tips on building a thriving spiritual practice.

In this article, you will learn:

• how to create a business where you don’t need to advertise to fill open spots

• how to build a business that doesn’t burn you out

• what you need to do to attract clients that are ready to buy from you

You won't be learning how to make 6 figures in 6 weeks -sorry, lol, this is a real honest account of what has worked for me and what hasn't.

My 5 tips are:

1. Get Clear on Who You Want to Serve and How You Want Them to Feel

Because humans are emotional creatures, we tend to make purchasing decisions based on emotion. So by getting clear on who you are targeting and what feelings, experiences, and memories you want them to have while interacting with you, you speak your ideal clients’ language and become known for that work. Plus people love consistency so they want to know what they are getting when they choose to work with you.

2. Start Small and Then Go Big

There are two important reasons for starting small and then growing. First, you avoid overwhelm and burnout. Sometimes when people grow too big too fast, they aren’t actually ready and this could lead to less quality work, poorer customer service, and your own health and wellness being compromised. It also allows you to build your self-confidence and self-worth up so that you grow with your business.

6 figures in 6 weeks is BS - sorry but unless you have been mastering your craft offline and then are just taking it online, OR You have done all the ground work first and have been working your business for years - I can't see it realistic that you are making 6 figures in 6 weeks. My advice is to be mindful of what you read and believe.

3. Create a Community of Raving Fans

I believe that if we focus first on service and less on money, then the business will thrive. When people know, like and trust you they will be primed to buy from you and will tell everyone they know about you. Your raving fans become your marketing team and this helps grow your business so much faster than if just you were promoting your business. I did this with my yoga business and now I don't need to advertise to fill my spots. I also had a class completely created by a client who gathered enough friends that it made sense for me to run a class just for them.

The mantra that I use and still pops up on my phone is “build the future business, don't make money” - sounds funny but it's true. I made the mistake of taking the advice of a coach who is phenomenal at marketing but not so great at coaching or getting her clients results. I believed her that if I did it her way, I would be more successful and she had us really going after the sale not after the relationship. When I tried it, the potential clients shut down, disappeared never to be seen again. If I had followed my own intuition and strategy that I know works then I would have focused on the relationship, not the sale.

4. Get Visible and Give Value! Always Give Your Best and Continue to Show Up

I know that getting visible can sound scary but it doesn’t have to be. And how else will your ideal clients find you if you aren’t showing up where they are hanging out? They can’t. Take the baby steps to keep putting yourself out there and remember that however anyone chooses to respond to you is on them and not you.

5. Get the Support! Hire a Coach, Collaborate & Connect with Other Successful Entrepreneurs

Coaches can see your blind spots and help you to move past them, guide you, and help you to find answers within. They have been where you are and know what to ask to move you to the next level.

And I can’t say enough about building a network, who you can collaborate with. This community will be there to support you, give and get referrals, and build potential partnerships with. If you are a solopreneur, the journey can get lonely at times, so having this network will help.
