Growing a Profitable Spiritual Business

Lately, I've been hearing about how the hustle to get clients is making amazing women doubt if they are cut out to run an online business. They are even considering giving up and we can't have that. We need all women to empower themselves and to share their gifts with the world to make it a better place.

What if focusing on getting clients was actually holding you back from signing clients?

And I believe this is actually the #1 reason preventing you from signing as many clients as you would like.

If you are focusing on the outcome of getting clients, then it takes the focus off the necessary activities to actually book a client. And when you resent the process or treat it like a means to an end, you don't do it as much. And you don't do it with the level of presence and most importantly, the energy that you need to make it effective.

This causes stress, because you want to be somewhere other than where you actually are. You're fighting against reality.

So you may be putting out a resentful energy and you likely are also putting out a needy, a lack (or I want to get) type energy. And what will you attract when you are in a get or a lack energy? More opportunities where you feel that you are in lack, or not getting enough.

So this energy feeds the cycle.

What you want to do instead is make the client attraction activities (aka marketing activities) fun. Focus on the ones that you really enjoy and do them very well. You do not need to do all the things. You'll actually want to drop the to-do list and instead align your actions with your soul's purpose and with your energetic blueprint.

And of course you do need to have the right strategy. If you plant a seed in the fall, it doesn't matter how positive you think or how high you raise your frequency the seed still will not grow over the winter. Well, maybe if you live in California or Florida but certainly not where I live. Anyway the point is, you need the right strategy and the right action and the right energy!

So lets move on to my three simple steps you need to grow a profitable business. There are actually five steps but you will have to check out the next blog post to find out the other two.

#1. You need a Cherished and Nurturing Spiritual Practice. As spiritual entrepreneurs, we are created differently than others. We have downloads a mile a minute and all sorts of amazing ideas but we are also highly empathetic and easily distracted. We need to fill our own cup first so that we have the right energy to bring to our business. If you don't have your own cherished and nurturing spiritual practice, then you will become drained and exhausted. You will not be able to determine which ideas are yours to take action on and which ideas you should let go and this will lead to overwhelm and more stress. If you don't have your practice, then you will allow other people's negative energies to creep in. And you will likely stay stuck in the lack and get energy of clients. So instead you'll want to create a practice that uplifts you and helps you feel abundant, confident and excited to serve your audience. This is the energy that will activate the Law of Divine Compensation.

#2 - Clear Messaging. This is crucial, you need clear messaging. If people don't know what you do or how you can help them, they will not hire you. Period.

Sorry, but it's true. This is crucial and honestly it was something I struggled with for a long time. But once I got clear on what I did and how I can help people, it made a huge difference. You'll notice if you watch me, I don't always use the exact same words but the energy is the same. I'm a Spiritual Business and Empowerment Coach and I help purpose-driven women who want to make a difference in this world to create thriving businesses and a life that they love. Basically I guide you on how to build an online business while addressing any mindset or emotional blocks that may come up immediately.

To create clear messaging, then you need to really understand your client and the language that speaks to that client.

If your messaging is not clear, people won't understand what you do. Here is an example:

"I help women connect to their core essence to live a life of alignment".

Do you know what that means? And what is the benefit of living a life of alignment? What is that coach going to help you with?

OR this one:

"I guide the spiritual seeker to achieve self-actualization by specializing in personal empowerment through emotional and mindset mastery".

Do you know what all these words mean? You may but many people would not have a clue what self-actualization or even personal empowerment means. If they don't know what you do, they will not hire you.

So you want to make sure that your message is very clear. Working with a coach can be incredibly helpful to tighten up your messaging. I help my clients get specific and clear with their messages by understanding their audience and the language they use as well as focusing on the benefit of what you provide instead of how you do it. Which actually ties in to #3....

#3. Compelling Offer. Once you have become crystal clear on your client and the language they use then you can create a compelling offer and of course, this must also have clear messaging around it. You want to offer something that your audience wants....how do you know what they want? You ask them. Find out where they are and where they dream to be. And then create a program to take them to where they want to be. You must do some market research and talk to your audience and find out what they need the most right now. Obviously, I'm not saying to create a program that you know nothing about you want to make sure that your skills and talents can provide the results that your audience is looking for.

And then you need to craft the offer in such a way that is is appealing to your audience. Again if it isn't clear, then they won't take action on it. And I want to help you avoid some of the mistakes that people make.

One of those thing is talking about the how instead of the benefits. People will explain that they use hypnotherapy, or empowerment coaching or mindfulness in their coaching instead of talking about the benefits of working with them. Benefits like "attracting clients so you can create the impact and income that you desire" or "healing your past traumas so you can be around your family at holidays without losing your mind".

I also see a lot of people sharing offers that talk about how many coaching calls that the client will get, instead of talking about the benefits of the program. Prospective clients want to know what they will get out of investing in your program, they want to know about the transformation. They need to know that you can solve their problem for them. They don't need to know about how many calls or how long it will be until after they've already decided that they need your program or service.

You'll also want to make sure your messaging is easy to understand because no one will invest in anything that they don't understand.

One more mistake that I see people making is they offer too high of an offer, too highly priced, too soon. They don't have the experience or confidence to sell it but someone has told them that they need to know their worth and that if they don't sell their package at a high price then they aren't valuing themselves. This is BS..... If you are relatively new or inexperience, you probably felt a bit hesitant to charging so much and this is a good thing. This is not a mindset issue. This is your conscious speaking and it's important to know this.

Oh and don't worry if that's happened for you, there is a very simple way to correct it and still be able to build you business and charge premium prices....You just need to know how to do it the right way.
